Advanced Pathology Services

Tissue Biomarker Imaging Solutions

Invicro’s Advanced Pathology Services (APS) team supports your translational research and drug development efforts by providing a combination of routine and unique tissue imaging services. Our scientific experts from assay development to data analytics provide a range of services that enables the visualization and quantitation of clinically relevant biomarkers in tissues. Importantly, our tissue biomarker program enables us to address challenges associated with other routine detection methods and deliver insights needed to take lead drug candidates to the next level. As a global service provider, we offer routine pathology services including: IHC, ISH, FISH with the option to be performed in a CLIA-certified laboratory. We invite you to learn more about some of our novel service offerings below.

Quanticell

Quanticell™: High Sensitivity Immunohistochemistry (IHC)

  • Detect multiple biomarkers in the same tissue with multiplexed assays to understand PK-PD efficacy relationships
  • Visualize and quantify low expressing drug targets (e.g., low HER2 expression), immune cells, downstream effectors and the therapeutic itself
  • Distinguish expression levels in different cellular compartments (e.g., nuclear vs. cytoplasmic) to build predictive response models
  • Determine the heterogeneous distribution of antigens while maintaining morphological information

Therapeutic Examples

  • Monoclonal antibodies (mAb)
  • Antibody drug conjugates (ADCs)
  • Bispecific antibodies
  • Recombinant proteins

In addition to offering routine IHC tissue testing, our Quanticell assay is a more sensitive protein quantification technique that detects targets on the cellular and subcelllular level within the tissue context. Because this assay is compatible with all commonly used IHC antibodies for FFPE tissue sections, optimizing conditions is streamlined by our scientific team.

3d

3D High Resolution Tissue Imaging

  • Evaluate the distribution of different classes of therapeutics with higher resolution and sensitivity to support in vivo imaging data
  • Track the biodistribution of fluorescently labeled therapeutics and detect immune cell recruitment using Cryo-fluorescent Tomography (CFT)
  • Visualize and quantify radiolabeled therapeutics using 2D and 3D Autoradiography (ARG)

Therapeutic Examples
  • Gene therapies (AAVs, ASOs)
  • mRNA delivered in lipid nanoparticles (LNP)
  • Therapeutic antibodies
  • Small molecule drugs
  • Oncolytic viruses
  • Engineered CAR-T cells
