Lino Becerra

Dr. Lino Becerra serves as Vice President of MRI to further consolidate and expand Invicro's capabilities to support studies utilizing MRI techniques from preclinical to clinical trials. Previously, Dr. Becerra was the Co-Director for The Center for Pain and the Brain at Harvard Medical School as well as being a faculty member for over 20 years. He has worked extensively in neuroimaging applications in neurological conditions. He Co-Founded Descartes Therapeutics Inc., a biotech company that was dedicated to the development of drugs for chronic pain and was Co-Director of the Imaging Consortium for Drug Development, which was formed by Harvard, McLean Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, Merck, Eli Lilly and Sepracor Pharmaceuticals.

Phillip Kuo

Dr. Phillip Kuo was a tenured Professor in the Departments of Medical Imaging, Medicine and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Arizona. Beyond his academic work, Dr. Kuo has vast experience as a consultant, reader and speaker for CROs and pharmaceutical companies.

Dr. Kuo has authored over 100 publications and has received numerous grants covering a diverse range of disciplines. Dr. Kuo received his A.B. from Harvard University, M.D. and Ph.D. from the University of Virginia, completed his Internal Medicine Residency at UCLA Medical Center, Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Yale New Haven Hospital and Nuclear Medicine Fellowship at Yale New Haven Hospital.

At Invicro, he supports the design, performance and analysis of clinical trials and also supports regulatory approval and post-approval activities, such as reader training.

Jan Passchier

Ph.D. | Executive Vice President, Global Head of Laboratories and Clinics

Education: Ph.D. in PET Radiochemistry, Groningen University

Years of Experience: 20+ years

Dr. Jan Passchier is an expert in radiochemistry applied to imaging and drug development. Dr. Passchier completed a Ph.D. in PET radiochemistry from Groningen University prior to moving to GlaxoSmithKline where he worked closely with project teams to identify and develop novel tool compounds for a large variety of CNS, metabolic and respiratory indications.

Dr. Passchier played a significant role in the design and realization of the GlaxoSmithKline Clinical Imaging Centre where he headed the chemistry group. Following the spinout of the centre to Imanova Ltd, now part of Invicro, he took on the overall operational responsibility for the business.

Dr. Passchier has a keen interest and deep understanding of the application of molecular imaging to disease understanding and drug development.

Dr. Christophe Plisson started working in the field of PET imaging at the University of Emory in 2001. He joined GlaxoSmithKline in 2004 where he worked on PET tool compound discovery and PET chemistry support across the drug development portfolio. He also had an honorary position of assistant professor at the University of Columbia. Dr. Plisson has been with Invicro since 2011 and currently holds the position as Head of Preclinical Services, overseeing R&D PET chemistry and preclinical PET imaging activities.
