How do you see imaging transforming the development of novel therapies?

"Translational imaging plays a key role in evaluating novel therapies and fast-tracking drug development. The combination of advanced technology across the preclinical and clinical space and the scientific expertise in designing and delivering studies will continue to support the growth of novel therapies."

What are some transformative breakthroughs that have driven precision medicine efforts?

"The development of intrathecal therapies and assessment using radiolabeled compounds has been a transformative breakthrough in the treatment of disease. This is a very exciting area that is rapidly developing."

What scientist (past or present) do you admire and why?

"It has to be Marie Curie! She inspired me from the age of 10 when I first read about her amazing career. She was a brilliant physicist and chemist who completed pioneering research into radioactivity and its applications in medicine. As the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, she is a fantastic role model for female scientists and her research into radioactivity paved the way for what we do today at Invicro."
